Prof. S. P. Nagendra Prasad who made a woman balance on a large cigarette stump in an effort to have people stop smoking is featured in a Deccan Herald story. Prof explained the symbolism, “The girl indicates health, which is beautiful and delicate. The stump is nothing but a cigarette, which makes one’s life precarious. So, do not smoke and bring an early end to your life.” He also produced a skeleton and illustrated a story about addiction through the use of a deck of cards.

It was Nagendra Prasad’s idea to regale the labourers. A regular morning walker at Lalbagh, he used to see the labourers working hard and decided to do something for them.
